Totally bizarre. Every year, we do volunteer work in the morning for our Christmas gift exchange, and then have lunch and do said gift exchange.... and then go home. I didn't even think it an option to go back to the office until everyone started going to the office. I was actually on my way home (walking from the metro) ... and thought to myself, that I might get in trouble if I don't go back. It would just look bad. So, I called in to see what the deal was, and they were planning on me coming in!!!! What is wrong with these people? It is tradition that we take the afternoon off. Anyway, here I am ... at work and SOOOOO HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!! Also, I got a LAME gift for the gift exchange. I know that is the spirit of things... to have fun playing the game of trying not to get the lame gift and someone has to end up with the lame gift. But, I hate it when it actually happens to me. I got a stuffed reigndeer that rocks back and forth and plays Rudolf the red nosed reigndeer. I am sooo not a fan of stuffed animals in general... but this one is lame. And, I happen to know that they guy got it this morning at CVS on his way into the gift exchange. Makes me mad. 701259
