I am really excited about Thanksgiving this year. None of the drama that usually ensues with my brothers family is happening because they will not be there!... and we are not obligated to go there. We are going to my Aunts house in Bowie... and my sister and family will be there. ... as well as various other people. My aunt is a great cook... and it should be nice. I am working on bringing two pies. So, I have to get my head around when exactly I am going to bake these said pies. Lately I have been on this baking kick, so it should be fun. I like trying new recipes ... and I have never made pecan pies. The other great thing about this weekend is that I have numerous exercise activities planned. Hikes and walks and walks to breakfast with good friends! And, I think our friend Staci is coming down to visit on Saturday. Should be a good weekend.
